ANNOUNCING BUGLE 2 - NOV. 4 2023

The second Brown Undergraduate Linguistics Event (BUGLE) will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023, Metcalf Research 107.

This is an event for Brown undergraduates to present work they have done in the previous year as well as any current work. Students are encouraged to present any interesting projects they have done - this can be work from a term paper, a course project, a squib, independent study work, ongoing projects, etc. Talks will be either 10, 15, or 20 minutes with 5 or 10 minutes for questions. We welcome any work on topics related to linguistics.

We encourage everyone who feels they have done interesting work recently to present. Works in progress are welcomed. BUGLE is a great chance to get some feedback and discussion on your project, network with fellow undergraduates and faculty in the Linguistics Program, and enjoy a day of great Linguistics!

If interested, please contact Polly Jacobson at pauline_jacobson@brown.edu. Any submissions after this date will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Whether you are giving a talk or not, all are encouraged to attend.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks during breaks will be provided.
